Encouragement

it's been dark for so long now

the path obscured, rocky

the only company you keep

is the heavy sighs, weary sobs, and echoes

but dawn will come - it always does

sun and warmth, light and song

will soon your company be

for winter to spring, night to day,

even cold and dark must rest

though your path be hard, and long and lonely

you know where you must go

in times of fear and desperation

remember they too have a season, but you...

you endure, you outlast them all

for they are only for a time

but you 

are immortal
